- Migrated the MS SQL Server code and data model into CitusDB
- Refactoring the code to support multi-tenancy.

As a senior software engineer I am responsible for feature implementation, development process, hiring developers and mentoring. Designed and developed backend micro-services for the below projects:
- Lead5
- Recommendation Engine
- Obsolescence Dashboard
- MDP Customer Engagement Portal
Key highlights of my work from each project:
- Rebuilt the existing Lead5 legacy app using NestJs and MongoDB, used Kafka messaging to keep the new app in sync (real-time) with the legacy admin app, also designed and developed the APIs for the new app.
- Analysed the data and built a Recommendation Engine using Locality Sensitive Hashing(LSH) which used more than a decade of sales data, combined with a statistical model, to recommend parts for some of the most complex machines in existence today.
- Integrated the data residing on SQL and Hadoop into the Obsolescence application database using SSIS, enabling the client to have complete visibility over the parts and take measures to mitigate risk.
